Syncronization with Network Attached Storage
I have a NAS (Network Attached Storage) on my network (QNAP
119). This server has an iTunes server ability.
When i start iTunes the server shows up as a data source. I then
click in the server and all media is shown in iTunes.
However, beaTunes doesn't seem to recognize my NAS. beaTunes only seem to regognize the information in iTunes that is added as a folder. Is there a solution to this?

Hi Andreas,
no unfortunately there is no solution to this. beaTunes can only interact with the iTunes and not with an iTunes compatible streaming server.
What happens is that your NAS uses DAAP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Audio_Access_Protocol) to serve iTunes content. It basically only delivers a list of songs plus the capability to stream those songs. That's not enough for what beaTunes needs, as it does not allow any manipulation or random read access to media files. And even if that was possible somehow, beaTunes does not have that capability right now.
