Renaming files on hard-drive
I have one main concern/question.
This program does an excellent job of organizing the file information in itunes, but will it rename the actual music filed stored on my computer? That is something I am looking for.
For example - If I have a song named: "John_Mayer – Slow_Dancing_in_a_burning_room (new.music.net)"
I know if would correct it in Itunes (John Mayer – Slow Dancing in a Burning Room), but is there any way it will correct the actual file too located in my music folder in my computer?
Thank you for your time!
John

Hi,
beaTunes/iTunes will update the tags in the file.
Whether the filename will be changed depends on your iTunes settings.

itunes s*ks as its truncating file names and folder names, so you end up with big mess of files. i.e. got two similar album names, one is limited ed one is not. itunes truncated that info from folder name so now i have folder with 3 cds and double file names ending like 1.m4a
