you to tweak each song MANUALLY. I'm very meticulous with my music,
so I'm not a fan of the automated-only programs. All the great ID3
tagging programs out there seem to be Windows-based, and I'm hoping
this is the Mac solution I have been searching for. Does beaTunes
provide a manually tagging function?</p></div>Michaeltag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/20822972010-06-26T08:07:30Z2010-06-26T08:07:30ZManual Tagging<div><p>Hi,</p>
<p>Hm... what <em>exactly</em> does manual tagging mean to you?</p>
<p>You could always try the free trial...</p>

without using an automated search that queries an online database.
After downloading the free trial, it appears that beaTunes does
allow for this but does not allow for the manual addition of album
art. I need all of these features. However, I appreciate your
response.</p></div>Michaeltag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/20822972010-06-26T18:25:36Z2010-06-26T18:25:36ZManual Tagging<div><p>Hi,</p>
<p>Actually, I suppose iTunes already does what you want, doesn't
it?</p>

the solution. iTunes will easily change the ID3 Tag on the surface,
but will not save all of the tag information to the actual file.
Thus, if you move the file away from iTunes, then you end up having
to tag the file all over again.</p></div>Michaeltag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/20822972010-06-26T21:12:32Z2010-06-26T21:12:32ZManual Tagging<div><p>Which information do you think iTunes does not save?</p>
<p>In any case - you might want to try Jaikoz - <a href=

<p>It may be the better program for you.</p>

for tagging (most all of them are Windows-based), you will find
that comments, genre, etc. are often not saved to the file.</p></div>Michaeltag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/20822972010-06-27T08:12:43Z2010-06-27T08:12:43ZManual Tagging<div><p>I have not seen this, however am aware of the fact that iTunes
does not necessarily <em>show</em> all fields, e.g. does not show
all comment fields (also does not show language, key, mood
etc.).</p>
<p>But seriously, try Jaikoz (I'm not affiliated with them, but a
competitor). If you want to be close to the tags, it's a great
tool.</p></div>hendrik
