I'm a new user.
I have attached a screen shot of one issue. I thought I had followed all the instructions but keep getting the message-screen shot attached. What is the cause?

How do I get something to show up in the "Matching Songs" section of the screen. I thought that setting up a match list would do it. No luck. I tried dragging and dropping, no luck. I'm at a loss.

So, help me out here, thank you.

    Hey Pat,

regarding the first issue: Unfortunately the screenshot did not make it into the support system. Can you please attach it again?

Issue 2: "Matching songs" displays songs that match the song you have currently selected in the main view according to the configured rules. The rules can be configured in the preferences. You might want to change the Match Quality value. Please read http://blog.beatunes.com/2015/02/creating-great-playlists.html for more info.

    Thanks,

I guess that dialog pops up, when you create a MatchList, right?
Without seeing the configured rules (in the preferences) and the MatchList creation dialog, I cannot say what exactly is wrong, but the dialog simply means:

    • Please lower the match quality (the slider in the MatchList creation dialog)
    • If that does not help, make sure you haven't set any rules that don't match anything
    • If that does not help, make sure you are not trying to find songs with similar color for a song that does not have a color (or BPM or mood ...)

Hendrik,After reading, and re-reading, several parts of the help/blog section I'm getting the hang of it.  My questions seem to be answered.
