non-iTunes info like that straight into your files.
Unfortunately, it only gets written, whenever you change

Before calculating the key etc turn embedding of non-iTunes
fields on
(in general prefs).

Software that knows how to read the corresponding id3 tags
should be
able to display the values.

Thanks,

hope that one helps if you want the "mixed in key"-feeling in

What's this mta file extension?
Would you want to repost this as jar or zip?

"http://mp3tag.org">http://mp3tag.org ) but it is plain text so
you can open/write the mta files with notepad.

to use it just put it into %ProgramFiles%/mp3tag/actions/ (if i
remember right) and choose the action from the actions menu. have
fun :)

der.zw3rgtag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/14587932010-05-20T04:49:30Z2010-05-20T04:49:31ZWriting Key/BPM to Mp3 Tags

a little update to the mta file. 4 "Circle of fifths" to

Your extension is not a plugin for beaTunes, but an
extension for mp3tag.

hendriktag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/14587932010-05-20T07:23:29Z2010-05-20T07:23:32ZWriting Key/BPM to Mp3 Tags

it is an action for mp3tag and not a plugin

mean the Replaygain of iTunes (it's called Sound Check there i
guess), What im talking about is the tag album_gain and track_gain
from foobar.

But i dont know... if Beatunes is screwing my proper Tags it
would be risky to use for me.

der.internettag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/14587932011-02-09T13:23:01Z2011-02-09T13:23:01ZWriting Key/BPM to Mp3 Tags

Hm.. please try 2.1.18 (released today) on a test song.

Does it still mess up your tags?
If it does, do you know, which id3 tags foobar uses for
replaygain?

Thanks,

My guess is, that the issue has been fixed in 2.1.18, because it
contains a fix dealing with TXXX frames.

But, you might want to check on some not so important
files...
