Hey, I am looking for an app that can pull off of apple music and stream music to a specific Beat per minute. Does your program offer that or will it only work with itunes library?

Thanks :)

    The latter.
Can any third party stream off of Apple Music? I wasn't aware of any Api Apple has published.

Not sure how to answer that question, I have just heard of apps that can
access your library and scan for specific BPM songs and play them for you
say when working out. I am signed up for apples new apple music and I was
just wondering if your app could pull songs from apple music?

You are the first company I looked into for this, seemed to be you guys
have a pretty cool app. I heard that spotify can do it and I believe thats
like a streaming service, but since apple music does not have that I
thought I would reach out to an app to see if it was possible.

By the response you gave I am assuming your app does not offer that?

    Thanks :)

    You are correct.

beaTunes can look at your local files and analyze them for BPM. Any files downloaded from Apple Music are unfortunately DRM-crippled and can therefore not be analyzed. It's the purpose of DRM to prevent third party apps to take a look at the actual audio data.

Anyhow. All the music you actually own (vs rent) and that is not copy-protected can be analyzed for BPM.

You may be able to download some BPM data for your protected songs using beaTunes, but there is no garuantee. Perhaps you simply want to try the trial version. If so, make sure you have "use online resources" turned on for those Apple Music files.

    Hope this helps,
