difference between "show similar songs" and "new matchlist": I use
the same rule set for both, but I don't get (exact) the same
results. Can you help me?

rolandtag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/366402132015-04-22T19:17:11Z2015-04-22T19:17:11Zshow similar songs vs. new matchlist

It should be pretty much the same.
How do they differ?

hendriktag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/366402132015-04-24T08:28:34Z2015-04-24T08:28:34Zshow similar songs vs. new matchlist

Please see the attached screenshots.

rolandtag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/366402132015-04-24T08:45:42Z2015-04-24T08:45:42Zshow similar songs vs. new matchlist

Looks like you sorted the match window by name, but didn't sort
the playlist.

That said, come to think of it, creating a match list involves a
bit more logic in that beaTunes actually tries to have songs follow
each other that match.

When just showing similar songs, it only shows songs that are
similar to the selected song, not messing with the order at all.
Perhaps that explains it.

hendriktag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/366402132015-04-24T09:14:05Z2015-04-24T09:14:05Zshow similar songs vs. new matchlist

Ah, that makes it clear. Thank you!

roland
