I updated flac tags with another tool, how do I tell beatunes?

I am trying the trial version.
I loaded my library, did not Inspect but did Analyze key, color, bpm etc.
Then I fixed tags in several flac files using another tool.
What is the best way to tell beatunes?

I tried to (re)Import some of the subdirectories in question and the # of songs
climbed, then returned to the earlier count. I imagine beatunes saw they were
duplicates. Unfortunately, it kept the old song names.

Do I need to drop the whole DB and reimport??
I don't know how much of the Analyze info is saved in the media files.
I believe I did check the save-in-file boxes where available when I ran Analyze.

Thanks

    Hey,

Did you try File -> Synchronize?
That triggers a re-read of tags.
However, if you have changed filenames, that may not work, as beaTunes can't know what you changed (the association between database and files is broken).
