Hi there, Im new to BeaTunes.

Searched the forum but no luck. My question is:

Is it possible to show album/Track in the tracklist?

All my tracks have the art picture tagged, but nothing is shown in theThe Album Art column.

Am I missing something? BTW, I can watch the art of every track in any other program (iTunes, Media Monkey, Traktor, Mixvibes....)

Have you tried sorting by Album Art?

    Hi Hendrik,

Yes, I tried, but the column is still empty.

Oddly, there are a group of tracks that are part of an album that show the art.

Those are the only ones that show it (from a 2000+ tracks collection).

Also, I would like to watch album arts in my playlists and music library the same as Amazon Rankings tracklists.

    Is that possible?

I'm not sure I understand what exactly you want. What exactly do you mean with "Amazon Rankings tracklists"?

Are most of those songs single songs or albums?

In the main view, beaTunes only shows album art, when you have a bunch of songs from the same album in the row. You can check whether it knows about any album art at all in the Get Info dialog.

Oh, I see, it is not a feature supported nowadays.

The Amazon Ranking tracklists view allows to watch several album arts at the same time:

A pair of example from other apps:

    Media Monkey

    iTunes

I would really love beaTunes to allow us watch album arts this way.

    Ah, I see.

But http://www.digitaldjtips.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/beatunes-re... is still supported for the Amazon charts (see attachment).

But it has never been a feature for your regular library. I can see how that is desirable though and am happy to take it as a suggestion.

It would be awesome if it where a feature for the regular library (most if not all media players out there have it).

This is also a feature you can find in lot of digital DJ systems, like Traktor, Cross DJ, RecordBox...

    A pair of examples:

Cross DJ solution is a neat one. Only the upper part of the album art is shown on the library list. When one track is selected, full art is shown.

    Hey,

I think we sorted this out in this discussion, right?

    Of course, much appreciated!

Only full art miniature display when a track is selected is left yet, I wish you can implement it in the next update.

    Keep the good work up!
