missing track numbers
can beaTunes fill in missing track numbers for albums?
i ran a script that stripped track numbers and other album information

Hi,
Yes, beaTunes can attempt to import track numbers (*Analysis* -> Import Meta Data).
However, because many songs have been released on multiple albums, track numbers may not be correct all the time. To increase the chance of importing correct track numbers, try to make sure your album names are correct first. And again, because tracks may have been released on multiple albums, using the same task (*Analysis* -> Import Meta Data) may not lead to the best results, but possible really bad results. Use this with care!
Another way to fill in album names or track numbers is to open the
Get Infodialog for a given song. beaTunes will automatically download reference data and compare it with what you have. Differences are underlined in red. You can right click on those items to get suggestions for corrections.Cheers,
