BT4: Where have the "x2" and "/2" BPM options gone?

Hi,

where have the options to double or half the tapped tempo gone in beaTunes 4? They are no longer available in the track info dialog, next to the tap pad.

Also, the options are disabled in the menu at the time the dialog is open. Furthermore, in the German localization, "BPM verdoppeln" has the same keyboard shortcut as "Undo": Cmd-Z, which doesn't look right to me.

Thanks,
Christian

x2 and /2 are now in the spinner right next to the BPM value.
Spinner = UI element with an up and a down arrow - see screenshot.

And yep - that shortcut seems... ahem... unfortunate. Will be fixed in 4.0.1.

    Thanks hendrik.

I'd NEVER have thought this would do a "x2", but instead a single BPM step upwards (or downwards). Count me in on a user who doesn't think this UI element is very intuitive - if you keep a counter on it, that is :-)

It used to do just the +-1 – but when you think about it, that's about as useful as a fridge in Antartica.

    That's why I changed it.

Admittedly, it may not be the most obvious feature.

    Hey Christian,

if you're interested, I have just fixed the keyboard shortcut issue you mentioned.
It's in the latest dev snapshot at http://www.beatunes.com/download/beaTunes-4-0-1-SNAPSHOT-osx.dmg

    Cheers,
