I believe i am using the latest version of the software. I can i be certain when every time I open it is is stating a newer version is available?

if you experienced a crash or other abnormal behavior, you might want to attach log files from /Users/alexanderson/Library/Logs/beaTunes

   Hi Alex,

   You seem to be using 3.5.14.
   The current version is 3.5.17.

   If you like, you can update - the updates from 3.5.x to 3.5.y are always free.
