How to delete BPM

I tried the trial version of BeaTunes but did not read the instructions before getting the BPM for all of my iTunes library. Most of the beats are completely off so before I buy BeaTunes and do it correctly, how can I delete all of the BPM quickly rather than doing them one by one?

OR..........will BeaTunes change them to the correct beat when I buy it?

    Hi Lisa!

The BPM algorithm will not change when you buy beaTunes - so I'm not sure how you analyzed your library, but do not expect an improvement once you buy it. That's the point of the free trial, so that there are no surprises.

When you run the analysis, you can select some options in the "Analysis Options" dialog. One of those options for BPM detection is "Replace existing value". This means the existing values of the songs you selected will be overwritten, when you run this analysis step - no deleting necessary.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks for your info Hendrik. When I buy it I will do as you say.

I thought I saw on the web something about 'setting' your BMP preference before you analyse. I cannot find it again, but that is what I was referring to when I mentioned that I did not read the instructions. This is why I thought my BMP's were wrong.

Is there anything that I should do before the analysis? Is there a tutorial for BeaTunes that will help me?

    Lisa,

there are no BPM preferences, but only the "Analysis Options" (basically the same thing). They are presented to you, when you click on the analyze button.

Of course there is the built in Help function - you might want to check that out.
But really it is as simple as selecting a couple of songs, clicking on "Analyze Songs", choosing some options (you can move the mouse cursor around to get the context help) and running the analysis.

    Hope this helps,

Okay.....thanks again. I will buy it today and hope that my BPM's are correct (to a point of course).
