KEY (or even !?COLOR?! [Stop the madness!]) field in iTunes?!?!
I understand iTunes will not let me add a customized field (i.e. create a "Key" field in iTunes), but I was wondering if it was possible to replace a traditional iTunes field ("Comments" would be perfect, or another I never use) with the unique values of a beaTunes field? I assume there is some way, possibly quite complicated...but you never know with Apple.
Thanks for your time. Really. Thank you.
Sean

Hi Sean,
please check the beaTunes preferences and go to the plugin tab.
There you'll find a plugin to copy key info over to iTunes.
Note that it's an "Analysis Task", that means, once you have installed the plugin, restart beaTunes and then analyze on of the songs you already have a key for. In the Analysis Options dialog, you will see a new option "Copy key to comment" or something like that. Make sure to enabled that task.
Hope this helps,
-hendrik
