Clarification on Data Collection During Song Analysis
I am a user of Beatunes and I have a question regarding the data collection process. I am looking to analyze an original song I created, not published yet.
However, I have concerns about data privacy and would like to know the following:
Does Beatunes send any data from the analysis of a specific song (such as BPM, mood, or tuning information) to your servers or third-party service providers?
Is there an option to perform this analysis entirely offline, without any data being transmitted?
If data is transmitted, could you provide more details about what exactly is shared and whether there are ways to prevent it?
I would appreciate any clarification on this matter as I am seeking to ensure that no information about my original song is collected or shared during the analysis process.
Thank you for your assistance.

The metadata is sent to the central beaTunes database and stored there (this may not always happen, especially, when you do not use any task online resources). When you interact with beaTunes, such as open the Get Info panel, the metadata (artist, title, ...) may also be sent to other third party services in order to look up additional metadata.
No, there is no global option always work offline.
Anonymized metadata is shared. This would be data like artist, title, album, key, etc.
One way to prevent this is to always work offline.
