I run itunes using a network drive to keep my library. Do I use directory or Itunes based library for beatunes?

    Sorry for the late answer.

    Whenever you care about a tight integration with iTunes, use an iTunes based library.

    If you aren't using iTunes at all, or don't care about it showing up to date data, you may choose the directory based library.
