Export a playlist as a single mp3 file?

Hi folks,

I'm dealing with an issue similar to this (http://help.beatunes.com/discussions/questions/17091-playlist-creation) - my music folders are a mess and I don't want to export the messy (and large) music folders when I'm working with a few songs for a playlist.

To that end, I'd like to export a playlist as a single sound file - i.e. what you'd get if you listened to the playlist from end to end (ideally with pauses/fades). I realize that this is going to remove some of the features that make a playlist useful (track separation, reordering files, possible song duplication) - but a smaller number of files plus the ability to put audio clips at the halfway and quarter points on a playlist I'm using to time stuff seems like a worthwhile tradeoff.

Is there any feature in m beatunes that will do this? Or is there currently a plugin? I've searched the documentation and so far have come up with nothing - lots of ways to export the lists of the location of sound files, but not a good way to concatenate those files into a single file.

I'm sorry, but this is not something beaTunes can do.
