Using Beatunes with removable drives

MY SITUATION: I have a small DAP that I take to work with me. It uses a microSD card that I can drag and drop music to. I moved a lot of tracks onto the card, but I'm not sure if the ReplayGain data is accurate on everything. I have more than one piece of software that calculates RG and the process is a little different for each one. Now, I KNOW I could just analyze everything and copy it over to the card, but I would prefer to create a separate library for the SD card and run analysis on that.

Is it possible to create separate libraries for removable devices, so any analysis/editing only applies to the files in that library?

(Apologies if I asked this already, or if it was already asked - I searched, but I might have used the wrong search terms.)

This should be possible with folder-based libraries.

OK. How do I create another library WITHOUT removing my primary library? I would like to be able to save library data under a specific name, and load that file when I'm working on that group of tracks. This way I can have my main library for my PC, and a separate save file for the USB drive I keep in my car.

I am not sure I understand the question. Each library/collection you create in beaTunes is separate. I.e. you can switch between them via the beaTunes preferences.
