I created a new playlist and a new smart playlist in the macOS Music app. I quit both Music and beaTunes5. And I restarted both but neither playlist is not listed in beaTunes. How do I force it to re-load the Music app's playlists ?

But you see other Music playlists in beaTunes, right?
If so, a simple synchronization should do the trick (from the File menu).

Thank you. I was hesitate to try that command because the name implies it would not just read from the Music app but also it might over-write some information. I manually corrected the BPM of many songs that I applied beaTunes. Won't beaTunes override the corrected BPM data with incorrect data that it maintains?

Also, is there a manual of some sort that explains each menu items?

"Synchronize" in beaTunes always means that beaTunes updates its internal database with data from iTunes/Music or the audio files themselves. So the database is synchronized with the external data.

    Never during synchronization.

There is the online help in the Help menu item in the app. If you have a specific question, please ask in this forum.

    Thanks!
