I have tried beaTunes and I am thrilled with the range of functions. But what totally annoys me is the speed. Analyzing and inspecting takes hours. Troubleshooting the same. Under a modern software I understand something else, even if it costs "only" US$34.95.

    Hey Thomas,

just to get an idea, what hardware are you using, where are your files stores (network or internal SSD?), and how many files/songs do you have? Also, what does the beaTunes About dialog show (screenshot)?

    Thanks!

    Thanks.
16979 files is certainly not too much. How/where are they stored?
