Changing the bpm margin after analysis started
Hendrik, as you said in a previous email, it seems to be better
to limit the BPM range instead of letting Rayshoot to choose it
automatically. I have already analyzed half of my library, and
don't see an option now to limit or change the BPM. Do I need to
stop and start the analysis again instead of changing it for the
rest of the music? (I think we have that option before the anlysis
starts).
Also can we just select those songs with a BPM > 170 -for
example- and reanalyze just those songs later?
if you experienced a crash or other abnormal behavior, you might want to attach log files from C:\Users\CMV\AppData\Local\tagtraum industries\beaTunes\logs

Hi,
you can't change tasks once they are in the queue. But you can delete/clear the queue.
Then just add the remaining songs with the other setting.
To re-analyze your >170BPM songs, just sort the main music table by BPM, select the once that are too high and then click "Analyze". For this particular approach, you might want to turn off "use online resources" (you might want to do that anyway to get better results!) and turn on "replace" to allow beaTunes to overwrite the old values.

Ok, as I've realized that I can't make beaTunes to choose a 60<MARGIN<170
I'll let beaTunes to finish analyzing everything automatically, and then
select those songs with a BPM<60 OR >170 and proceed as you said...unless
you tell me to turn off "use online resources" also for this first step that
beatunes is doing now...

Oh, you said it was better anyway. Thanks a lot, awesome support service and, as far as I have seen, terrific software!

Turning "use online resource" off will make sure that the values are calculated locally on your computer. It only ensures that the set BPM range is actually respected.
Thanks for the positive feedback! :-)
