I would like to sort an existing playlist by color...since itunes doesn't have a color column, is there a simple way to sort in BeaTunes and synch to itunes?

    Hi,

you could sort in beaTunes, select all songs and create a new playlist with those songs. The new playlist will be sorted by color, too.

Are there any improvements in beaTunes 4?

Well, you could also create a RuleSet (in the preferences) that only takes color into account, select a song in beaTunes, right-click and select Order By from the context menu. This also changes the order of the playlist, obeying the defined rule (in this case color).
