<p>please check out <a href=

there is a plugin for copying key info to other fields.</p>

the 'keytocomment.jar' file where the instructions say to put it,
it shows up as an option when I select 'analyze songs' and then I
get a serious error (pic attached).</p>
<p>I restarted the machine, deleted all my beatunes files,
including the ones in application support, reinstalled (which did
fix the jammed queue). But the software will not do anything with
either the 'keytocomment1.0.3.jar' or the 'keytogrouping1.0.4.jar'
in the plugins folder (it did work before I put anything in the
plugins folder). It simply locks up when I go to analyze a
song.</p></div>Parker Scotttag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/70499622011-05-12T07:32:45Z2011-05-12T07:32:45ZKey in iTunes: Can it go in another field?<div><p>Hi,</p>
<p>that error probably stems from the 1.0.3 version - it's not
compatible with the current beaTunes release. <a href=

http://blog.beatunes.com/2010/02/beatunes-214-requires-update-for.html</a>
contains the most recent of these plugins.</p>
<p>Please delete the 1.0.3 version or replace it with the
corresponding 1.0.4 version.</p>
<p>Thanks,</p>

exactly how it displays that data in the comments. I'd prefer that
it showed only the OK Notation and nothing else.</p></div>yeahdeftag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/70499622011-06-14T20:48:24Z2011-06-14T20:48:24ZKey in iTunes: Can it go in another field?<div><p>Hi,</p>
<p>you can certainly change the plugin. The latest version (needed
for beaTunes 3) can be found at <a href=
