    Hey there,

I am afraid there is no video, but I am happy to help.

Let's confirm that I fully understand the problem.

You want to export a playlist on one computer and import it on another. Right?

The problem with exported playlists is that they all contain paths to your files, not song ids. This means that if you export a playlist on computer A, that playlist can only work on computer B, if computer B has access to the same files as computer A, i.e. your music file structure has to be identical.

Now does it have to be fully identical? No.

beaTunes allows you to export playlists with relative paths. This means that instead of absolute paths like c:\my_music_folder\my_track.mp3 it contains a paths like my_track.mp3 without the c:\my_music_folder\. All paths in the playlist file are then relative to the location of the playlist file. In the given example, the playlist file would be stored in c:\my_music_folder\.

To create such a relative playlist with beaTunes, right-click on the playlist (in the tree pane on the left), select Export Playlist and the format you want to use (e.g. m3u), choose where you want to store playlist (e.g. at the root at your music folder), and then answer the question Export filenames relative to the playlist's location? with Yes. This ensures that all paths in the playlist are relative,

On your second machine you can now import that playlist file, if it's located in the same folder and your music file structure is identical to your first machine.

    Hope this helps,

    -hendrik
