Automatically export playlist - how does it work

Hi,
In beaTunes 5.2.5 under Preferences / General how does "Automatically export playlist" works?
I have it selected but I can't figure out where the playlist gets exported to?
Please advise

   Hi,

   Please open the general preferences and hover with the mouse over "Automatically export playlist" and the tooltip then shows the location.

   So does this automatically export the playlists each time there is a change or on a particular schedule, like hourly or daily?
