I use Beatunes to help me make random sets to DJ. Since I have small samples and FX in my music folder how would I exclude these folders from the library?

meliodastag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/480748972020-02-09T11:47:59Z2020-02-09T11:47:59ZHow do I exclude certain folders from the library?

I am afraid, you cannot exclude folders from your library.

The whole concept of beaTunes does not evolve around files or folders, but only around tags. The beaTunes-way to exclude something would be to tag those samples and FX with tags like
sample
and
FX
and then exclude those tags when creating MatchLists.

Hope this helps,

How can I prevent this from happening at all?

meliodastag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/480748972020-02-09T18:38:17Z2020-02-09T18:38:17ZHow do I exclude certain folders from the library?

They really should not. Can you please reproduce the issue, i.e. create such a matchlist, and then upload your logs (using
Help
->
Upload Logs
from within the app)?
Can you also please send a screenshot of what the matchlist dialog with your settings looks like?

Thanks!

hendrik
