How do I get key information into Serato + backing up all beatunes music?
I currently go the long manual way to get key information into Serato and it has taken me hours to get it done. Problem is I have to do it every time I download a boat load of songs. Its pretty easy with the first part of getting the info from itunes to beatunes...but the headache comes when I have to then enter in all info back into itune to have serato pick it up. Is there a way to get the info from Beatunes to Serato more easily.
Also, what is the best way to back up all the beatunes work on a hard drive, so that if something freaky happened I would not have done all this work for nothing....
Thanks again,

Hi,
before analyzing any songs with beaTunes, open its general preferences and check that box for embedding non-iTunes fields. That makes it so that beaTunes writes the key info as an id3 tag, which Serato should be able to pick up - perhaps it needs to re-scan the files.
To back up the beaTunes database, back up the folder ~/Library/Application Support/beaTunes
Hope this helps,
