<p>yes, beaTunes works on DRM free AAC files.</p>
<p>But you should definitely try the free trial before you buy, it
does not have any limitation regarding BPM detection.</p>
<p>Best BPM detection results are typically achieved by turning
"online resources" off and choosing the RayShoot algorithm with a
preselected range of 70-140 BPM.</p>
