I was wondering how do I convert the key to keycode to use with serato if that's not possible is there a key to key code chart like the Camelot wheel? thanks

As far as I know, Serato simply displays whatever is in the mp3 files, be it in the regular notation (see id3 specs, http://www.id3.org/id3v2.4.0-frames#line-385) the way beaTunes writes it or in the proprietary MixedInKey/Camelot notation.
However, if you want to map from standard to Camelot, I guess you should use their wheel.

You can really simply use the Camelot wheel - http://www.harmonic-mixing.com/HowTo.aspx to map tonal keys to codes.

Where do you "actually" map it? do you edit the 'key to comment' script?
Thanks

I'm not sure I understand the question.
Can you elaborate, please?

I'm sorry,
I'm just running into the same issue (used to camelot numbers) and need my files to have that instead of the key.
I use traktor though, not serato... So i'm not sure what you guys are talking about when you say "map from standard to camelot". Is it a sort of automated thing to change the id3 comment tags?
Is there a solution for my issue? (like edit the 'key to comment' script with variables for writing... like IF key Am then write 8A)...
Maybe i'm getting too creative.
