beaTunes can do genre tagging (Analysis Tasks -> Import Metadata). Note that genre may be very subjective—your mileage may vary.
That is a question Serato should answer. If Serato can read regular genre tags, then yes.

OK with that being said I just need to analyze my hard drive with beaTunes
and them I guess import the music to my Serato?

That's what I would assume.
As I said, your mileage may vary. When importing metadata, be extra careful not to overwrite, i.e. replace valid data. Whatever you already have, may be "more" correct and there is no undo (do you have a backup?!).
So you might want to try this with a few songs first.

I do not think I overwritten my Metadata I did the changes of the genre
itself within my music software not on the drive itself.

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying.

What I am trying to say is that I did not change any data in the file
itself only in the music program.

If with "music program" you mean beaTunes, you have changed data in the file itself. Changes in beaTunes are almost always reflected in the file.
There is only one exception and that is if you are using an iTunes-based beaTunes library and you are changing fields that iTunes does not support while embedding (an option in the general preferences) is off. See https://blog.beatunes.com/2013/10/so-where-exactly-does-beatunes-st... for details.

Ahh ok sorry for all the questions. One more question will BeaTunes help me
with finding the correct music genre for my music? I have gotten a new
music hard drive from a friend and a lot of his music genre tags are way
off from the song. Can this program help detect the correct music genre
tags and properly tag them in the program?

Yes.

Even in the free trial you should be able to make changes.
That said, if you are unhappy, you can get your money back, (if you want that) within 60 days of the purchase.

No, with the free trial I could not make any changes but its fine I will be
buying the product today. It seems to do everything I need it to do.

As I said, if you're unhappy, just let me know (Refund Policy).

I was testing beatunes, is it possible turn off genre updates,it can easily mess them baddly, i have turned updates off. also dont want see super genres, they are annoying, most of the time nowhere near. if music is from electronic music sub genres.
For me the messing the genres is big deal.
Also if using plugin , which converts keys to cameleot, is it possible if sorting using key it alo ues the plugin key order.
thanks
Gary

Hey Gary,
I am not quite sure what you're asking, but yes, you don't have to import genre names from anywhere.
Thanks for the feedback. The shown genres are based on an ontology. For some genres it may be not very useful. Can you give any examples?
Does it not?
Cheers,
-hendrik

Thank you for your reply Hendrik.
I cant give you good example now, btunes expired, but will buy it this week, when have time to work with it more.
The problem is if accidentaly touch the genre field, it can save very odd result to genre tag, what has allready saved by me using mp3tag application, what i use after buying tracks.
Electronic sub genres can be example ethnic house, organic house, psytrance, progressive trance or house, PsyDub,PsyBreak, psybient, Chillgressive, psychedelic .......
It could be nice if could turn off super.
Key field, I tested beatlet CustomKeyrender.js and its very good, if want use cameleot or own formats for key, there is one small bug, A should be B.
I change the code, its micro correction, so i wont post the source here.
If i try to sort by Key, Beatunes are not using those values which are displayed by customKeyrender beatlet, i would like to use that for sorting, now they are not logical order by beatlets value.
All values bmp,and key, genre is allready filled.
I only analyse color, timbre, segments. no updates from external databases via beatunes.
Beatunes will help my workflow, while thinking DJ sets.
regards,
Gary

About Super Genre, often there are no point have a super after users Genre.
Like a
Deep House (House)
this case the super (House) is just a noise, why need to repeat two times house house. zero information value. its pretty much same if repeating after BPM again BPM
If using BMP by Key or Key by BMP for sorting with beatlet, the sort order is not correct. not even if try to use plain key.
I just verified it
best regards.

Are you aware of the https://twitter.com/beaTunesApp/status/1459187374307655681 ? Does it also have the A/B bug?
I'm afraid, that's currently not possible. Key sorting follows this schema 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, etc. and stays the same, no matter how the key information is displayed.
The key beaTlet does not affect the sort order at all and IMHO is not supposed to.
Just to make sure there is no misunderstanding: The super genre is just displayed, not added as tag to the file or to the database. In some cases it may be a welcome hint, but I agree, for most people this does not add much info they don't already know.

Hi
Sorry i dont understand your the link.
because its a bug. no question about it.
other thing.
Sorting should be the way how it displayed, do you agree ?
it can be little complex to code, but its not impossible.
also hiding super is not difficult task.
Some of these things are also mention by other users, not by me only.
