Hello, Every time I try to synchronize my library it stops approximately. ¾ of the through. I have let it sit for an hour and the bar graph does not move. Any suggestions?
Thank You,
Tim Duchene

Hi Tim,
while beaTunes can read a lot of song properties through files and the regular (fast) Music.app API, some properties are only accessible via the (very slow) AppleScript Music.app API. These properties are updated at the end of synchronization. Unfortunately, it appears as if beaTunes is stuck, but it is really just waiting for Music.app to respond. Please just start synchronization in the evening and check the next morning.
Typically this does not take forever, as not all songs are checked (only changed ones), but every once in a while it may take extra long in a large library.
Hope this helps,
-hendrik

Hi Hendrik,
Thank You for the reply and insight. I will be more patient now that I have the understanding. I will run a synch tonight and let it run.
Thanks Again, and a BIG thanks for the best music oriented app out there!
Tim
