* Version: 11.0.21+10-LTS
* Vendor: BellSoft
* OS: Mac OS X 15.0, x86_64
* Library: FileSystem
* Memory: 92m - 1152m

Further clarification: this is with a small folder based library of around 12 files. I use this to catalog items before transferring files over to a laptop for playout in my radio show.
I checked what was happening via the Activity Monitor app.

Thanks.
I'm under the impression that perhaps the integration with Core Audio broke.
Can you please try the following:
/Applications/beaTunes5
Contents/Java
casampledsp-complete-0.9.23.jar
tocasampledsp-complete-0.9.23.jar_
Does this work better?

Thank you, yes.
It took me two attempts because I was unsure about the extension ending in .jar_
Analysis was successful, file info works correctly and I could run an inspection.
Thank you for your prompt advice on this.
Peter

Hey Peter,
Renaming to
.jar_
essentially disables that library. One could also simply delete it. beaTunes will then fallback to using FFmpeg for decoding audio. It usually works equally well.Cheers,
