Downloaded trial installer but didn't install (or maybe deleted?) until month later, now says expired
I downloaded the trial installer but didn't install it until over a month later and now when I tried to install it says the trial copy has expired. I tried to re-download the installer, and the same problem. Is this normal, once i download it if has to be installed immediately? Maybe i did install it then delete it when i first downloaded it because i was busy and hoping to delay my trial? Would that cause this problem? Is there a way to have the trial?

Hey,
sorry for not getting back to you earlier. The trial starts after you've installed the software and ran it for the first time. So
seems weird. Have you perhaps installed and run a previous 5.x version before?
The only way to restart the trial is to turn back your system clock to a time before you've first run beaTunes 5.x and then start beaTunes.
Cheers,

HI Hendrik, thank you. I went back one year and it doesn't work but went back two years and then it opened. So maybe i dowloaded it it and opened it at some point that I don't remember. Once it opened (with the year 2021 on the calendar) however it wasn't opening my Apple Music Library, I tried Synchronize and got the error "Not authorized to send apple events to music" and then Repair Database. I noticed Beatunes did have some Apple Podcasts (just a small amount mot nearly everything that seems to be in the Podcasts app) which is a program I don't use and last opened it appears in 2020, so maybe that is why the database was dated before 2021?
I tried to analyze one of the podcasts and Apply album gain to Itun normal tag but i can't find that sort of info from the Podcasts app to see if it successfully changed the volume.

Hi,
This indicates that you haven't allowed beaTunes to "remote control" the Music app. To allow this, please open the System Preferences/Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Automation -> and then allow beaTunes to control Music (see screenshot).
beaTunes is not capable of interacting with the Podcast app.
Hope this helps,
-hendrik

Thank you Hendrik, that got the library loaded. On to figuring out how to use for normalizing for me.

What is the remaining issue here?
Does https://www.beatunes.com/en/itunes-replay-gain.html perhaps help?
Cheers,

Thank you, that page helped and one setting in analyze I had previously unchecked. So far so good.
