BeaTunes forgets it's registered
I've just had this problem for a second time with my Windows 10 64bit installation - BeaTunes version 5.2.
Everything was running fine yesterday, I created a number of Matchlists and closed the program down. When I opened up today it waited for a long time on the BeaTunes logo (which it seems to do every time I start the program) before opening up in a small window saying my trial version had expired! I re-entered my license details and the program showed my content but my windows state had reset. All of my columns were back in the default order and my Matching Song window was closed (it was also back to default column order). Luckily, my personal filters were still available. When I selected a track the Matching song window didn't populate ... and when I tried to play the track it said it couldn't find it. I noticed a new version of BeaTunes was available and when that was installed I re-synchronized my library and everything seems back to normal.
The fact that this is the second time it's happened is concerning. Fortunately, I have managed to get everything back working on both occasions but I'm worried that the next time it happens I may lose everything.
Is there anything that can cause BeaTunes to randomly forget it is licenced?

Odd. Do you have multiple accounts installed on this machine? Are you running beaTunes under the same user you have used, when you've installed beaTunes? This sounds a bit like a permissions issue..

There's only a single accoount on my PC and it's a standard installation. I'm the only person who ever uses it.
The first time it happened I hadn't used beaTunes for a month or so and it opened up in a small window with the 'trial license' message. However, the second time it happened I had been using it the day before. When I re-entered the license it had remembered my library and playlists but most other settings had returned to their defaults.
I did notice that Java updated the day before - could that have anything to do with it?

No.
More likely some "cleanup" software.

I don't think I'm running any sort of clean up software. I'll post if it happens again but it's working fine at the moment.
Is there any way of saving the settings to a file so it can be restored if this happens again? I'm still finding settings that got reset when the problem occured.
