V.5.2.28 not synching with iTunes
Beatunes BPM, color, key, etc. not syncing with the iTunes library. iTunes advanced sharing is turned on and Beatunes is pointed at the correct XML library.

Hey Tai,
when you say "not syncing", do you mean that beaTunes cannot read new values from iTunes or that values set in beaTunes are not communicated to iTunes?
Does beaTunes show any error messages? This is on Windows, right?

Hi Hendrik,
When I say not syncing I mean that data from BEATUNES is not syncing to iTunes. Specifically, bpm and key. If I create a new playlist in BEATUNES it does sync to iTunes. yes, I use windows.

From within beaTunes you can upload logs (
Help
->Upload Logs
). Could you please do that? Perhaps that sheds some light on why the communication between beaTunes and iTunes fails. After you have uploaded the logs, please let me know.That said, in most cases this is caused by one of two issues:

I am having the same issue on Mac. The trial version worked perfectly for me. But as soon as I bought the license key, Beatunes stopped communicating with iTunes. If I make a change in iTunes, it's reflected in Beatunes, but if I make a change in Beatunes it doesn't reflect in iTunes. Also, when I start Beatunes, iTunes doesn't automatically start.

Hey Marina,
the communication mechanism between beaTunes and iTunes/Music on macOS and beaTunes on Windows is very different. So this is most likely a different issue.
Let's clarify!
Do you really use iTunes or the Music.app? Which version of macOS? Any chance you recently updated macOS and that might have caused the failure you observe? Apple has introduced some mechanisms in newer version of macOS that make that likely. Does beaTunes show any error messages regarding AppleScript communication with iTunes/Music.app?
