synchronization was aborted

After not synchronizing my beatunes and itunes for some time I wanted to perform it again this morning. Unfortunately I keep on the message that synchronization was aborted, com4j.ComException: 80040154 CoCreateInstance failed: class is not registered:.\com4j.cpp:153 (Execution). This popup keeps on coming up.

I use Beatunes 5.2.26 and iTunes for Windows 12.12.3.5 using Windows 11 with Beatunes and iTunes library synchronizing.
What steps should be taken to solve this?

   I'd first try the following:

   • restart computer
   • start beaTunes
   • (it should start iTunes automatically)
   • synchronize

   If this does not work, re-install iTunes from https://www.apple.com/itunes/ - please do not use the Microsoft Store version, restart your computer and go through the steps mentioned above again.

   In a nutshell, beaTunes sometimes requires to be started before iTunes.
