For some reason I cant find some songs there.

I'm not sure I understand. What songs can you not find?

also it didnt really work,

Perhaps something went wrong when you manually edited the file? What does your
preferences2.xml
look like now?

Ive changed the location of the songs and the playlist got empty again

Is the second root folder also in an NTFS file system? Or is it on some other hard drive?

hendriktag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/492143902021-05-25T13:01:52Z2021-05-25T13:01:53ZMultiple root folders does not work

about the third, its an external hard drive
about the second, added the preferences2 file,
and regarding the missing songs, i simply cant find some songs in my file
system, try relocating them, and they disapeard

Eyal Avitantag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/492143902021-05-25T19:06:08Z2021-05-25T19:06:08ZMultiple root folders does not work

Thanks for the file. It looks fine to me.

It does not really matter whether the hard drive is external or internal. But it matters what file system has been used. You can find out, following the advice on this website: https://www.howtogeek.com/681125/how-to-see-a-drives-file-system-on...

The whole renaming and beaTunes still finding songs is only supported on APFS and NTFS, but not on FAT, ExFAT, SMB or the like.

hendriktag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/492143902021-06-06T09:32:51Z2021-06-06T09:32:52ZMultiple root folders does not work

Hey the file system of the hrd drive is NTFS, but still doesnt work.

also, made my first set using the software few days ago, but couldnt find a
not an xml)

Eyal Avitantag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/492143902021-06-10T09:02:56Z2021-06-10T09:02:56ZMultiple root folders does not work

Weird. Can you please synchronize again and then upload a fresh set of logs? I'd like to see what beaTunes logs about it.

beaTunes exports only playlists. If you want to create copies of your music files (e.g. all files in a playlist), you have to do that yourself or ask some other tool to do it.

hendriktag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/492143902021-06-30T12:10:24Z2021-06-30T12:10:24ZMultiple root folders does not work

Hello, eventually there are too many bugs in the software, and I cant try
