beatunes adding unwanted ID3 tags

I'm looking to use beatunes simply to analyze BPM and add BPM to the appropriate ID3 tag category. I tested it on one song (I have around 100 to get through) and it was successful. However, after opening this song in MusicBrainz Picard, I noticed beatunes added a multitude of additional tags such as Analysis Date, Beats, Beats Algorithm, Color, Spectrum, Print, BPM Algorithm, Time Signature Algorithm, and some other unintelligible ones. In my analyze window I only have selected Estimate BPM and Replace existing BPM. I'd only like the BPM tag to be affected. Screenshots attached.

macOS Catalina 10.15.7
beatunes 5.2.13

    Hey Bethany,

indeed beaTunes adds a bunch of other tags (mostly side-products of the BPM analysis) to the files as well in order to keep this information somewhere else but its internal database, so that this information can be quickly recovered.

I'm sorry, but at the moment there is no way to turn this behavior off.

Thanks for clarifying. And no worries, I found a simple way to remove the additional tags using Picard.

    Thanks for your great program!
