Beatunes doesn't write replaygain-Tags in files after analyzing. replaygain Box is checked. Only the iTunNORM-Tag is present, but i'm not sure, if it's created in beatunes or iTunes. Am i doing wrong? Is there any way to make it work? Bug? Featurerequest?
Steps to reproduce:
1.) Import Track from CD in iTunes
2.) Start beatunes and analyze this Track
3.) Optional: synchronize
4.) Open it in a tag viewer (in my case Kid3), no replaygain_track_gain -x.xx dB is present

Is "embed non-iTunes tags" in the general preferences turned on?

    replaygain Box is checked

The "embed non-iTunes tags" checkbox in the general preferences has nothing to do with "replaygain Box". It ensures that non-iTunes values (and ReplayGain is one of them) are actually written to the files.

I assume you are using an iTunes-based music collection in beaTunes (as opposed to a folder-based one). Correct?

    Sounds good.
Please also upload your logs via beaTunes’ Help menu.

    Thanks!

Yes, the „Embed non-iTunes tags“ switch is Turner on, and that is what i mean when i say replaygain switch. But i will verifiy this and send a Screenshot.

Those are the task settings, not the application preferences!

Please open the application preferences, stay on the general tab and check “embed non-iTunes fields”. Is it turned on?

If you are going to try this again, please make sure both "Embed non-iTunes fields" and "Force overwriting of fields, ..." are turned on.

Ok, replaygain ts are now properly written, thanks a lot, ist was my fault not to set these two options.
But now the already present itunnorm Tags are not touched, aver when option „Farce overwriting…“ is checked.
A replay-gain-Player (Squeezebox) play significantly quieter, itunes still plays the same level. Soundcheck is active, when i inactivate, ist gets louder.

I testet it again and i think it works as designed. The difference in iTunes is hardly hearable, but measurabel. And the itunnorm Tags are changed.
This can be closed, thank you!

P.S.: Are there any plan to build the following features:
    - Tag Viewer for all fields
    - embed/delete/resize Coverart
    - export and convert to USB,etc.

    Tag Viewer for all fields

Which fields specifically are you interested in?

    embed/delete/resize Coverart

Embed/delete covertart is possible by opening a track with Get Info, then right-click on the the cover art image.

    • export and convert to USB,etc.

Exporting playlists is possible by rich-clicking on a playlist. However, that does not move any files anywhere, but that's a feature I am interested in as well.

All Fields would be interesting, like in Kid3. But especially for me the replaygain and itunnorm tags are interesting, to check the results.
