iTunes library lives on Synology NAS but not accessible

Hi,

My iTunes library is located on a Synology NAS connected to my Win 10 machine.

Seems Beatunes can't see the NAS.

Any suggestions? (I'm hoping to avoid moving files to the PC, do the analysis and updates then copy back to the original iTunes library location on the NAS - if that would work at all).

Thanks

Bart

How can you tell beaTunes cannot see the NAS?
    What’s the symptom?

Hi Hendrik. Thanks for the quick response.

No NAS disks are displayed when choosing where the iTunes library lives.

    The PC disks are shown.

Even if I select ‘network’, nothing is displayed.

So it seems the NAS isn’t detected.

Happy to give you a call if it helps solve the problem as beatines seems the ideal solution to my adding metadata to my music library.

    Regards,

    Bart

    Hi Henrik,

I’ve just switched on the PC and Beatunes has found the iTunes library so it seems I’m good to go with the evaluation.

    Regards
