I have uploaded the log file for some tracks that I converted to ALAC and shoved in my iTunes library. The analysis threw up an illegal argument error for unsupported conversion. I had used 20bit 48kHz stereo as my output as I'm playing around with what I can hear on my set-up. It's no problem to run the files through the convertor again but what resolutions are supported by the beaTunes engine?
Happy New Year.

    Hey Mike,

Just out of curiosity: why did you choose 20bit? And which tool did you use for the conversion?

    beaTunes supports 8, 16, 24 and 32 bit.

    Cheers,

    Hi Hendrick

It was part of an experiment using Fission from Rogue Amoeba (I’m testing my aged ears for how well they can discriminate between different bit rates). The bpm values analyzed ok but some of the other stuff failed due to the 20bit setting. I’ll go back and re-rip the audio to 24 bit.

    Cheers

    Mike
