adding to analysis

beatunes5 5.1.1
I have about 1000 songs in my library.
Adding all at once to analyse results in a popup [adding 1 of 1000] and it never advances from there. (Never an in at least not for 1h).
20 songs at once worked. 40 also hang. :(
Is this a known issue?

   I'm running Win 10 x64, latest updates applied.
   Also tried the beatunes database repair - did not help

   Did the repair succeed? Or did you can some kind of error message?

   That aside, please upload your logs. You can do so via Help -> Upload Logs.

   There was no feedback of any kind. I do not think the database is messed up.
   I just uploaded the logs.

   it's an intermittent failure. I believe I have fixed it in the latest dev snapshot https://www.beatunes.com/download/beaTunes-5-1-2-SNAPSHOT-x64.exe If you'd like to install the snapshot, please make sure you stop beaTunes before running the installer.

   2) When running it for the first time it told me i need to enable XML
   sharing in itunes. But it is already enabled. I uploaded the logs aga

   3) When running the analysis now, itunes keeps becoming the topmost and
   focused window. Very annoying.

   4) on a small window the beatunes app looks fine, but at 4K full screen it
   fails to draw most UI elements. See snapshots.

   According to your logs, there is an issue when communicating with iTunes. I recommend restarting your computer, then starting beaTunes, iTunes should start automatically.

   Does that solve the issues 2 and 3?

   Regarding issue 4: Is that on the same computer?

   You might want to try to turn off Direct3D for beaTunes.

   To do so, shut down beaTunes, then please locate the file beaTunes5.ini in your beaTunes installation directory. Open it with Notepad (you may need to do this as Administrator).

   Towards the end you'll find entered like

   vmarg.17=-Dbpmalgorithms.legacy.support=false
   vmarg.18=-Dwindows.useStandardFont=false
   vmarg.19=-Dfont.size=12
   vmarg.20=-DHIBERNATE_STATISTICS=true
   

   Below vmarg.20=-DHIBERNATE_STATISTICS=true please insert a new line:

   vmarg.21=-Dsun.java2d.d3d=false
   

   Then save the file. If you cannot save the file because of permission problems, please just close it without saving and then start Notepad as Administrator and add that line again. As Administrator you should be allowed to make the manipulation.

   Then start beaTunes.

   Actually, please ignore my advice for issue 4.

   When you disable the Location column (via the View menu), does the painting issue disappear on the large screen?
