    What have you done to start an analysis? How exactly does beaTunes fail?

    offer BPM analysis of newly added songs

    Have you tried to synchronize?

    Hendrik,

    In the past, beaTunes would automatically search for newly added songs in iTunes and ask me if I want to analyse and/or synchronise. This no longer happens. How do I set that up?

    Also, yes I have tried synchronising but the BPM still doesn’t show up in iTunes.

    Hey Bernard,

    beaTunes should ask automatically whether you want to analyze something new, right after it synchronized. Before it simply does not know. There's nothing to set up.

    Synchronization does not propagate values TO iTunes, it only synchronizes beaTunes with iTunes state (i.e. it reads).

    Also, yes I have tried synchronising but the BPM still doesn’t show up in iTunes.

    Open the beaTunes general preferences and select "Force overwriting..." and analyze the songs in question again. If that still does not work, please send your logs via Help -> Upload Logs.

    I rebuilt the database and it restored everything to normal. It is working how I want it to.
