<p>You need to delete the <code>database</code> folder.<br>
<a href="http://help.beatunes.com/kb/troubleshooting/beatunes-does-not-start-shows-jdbcexception">This article</a> explains where it can be found. Since you're on macOS, please pay special attention to the remark about <code>~</code> (squiggly line).</p>

As I mentioned:</p>
