1. Falls es um einen Absturz oder sonstwie abnormes Verhalten geht, häng bitte die Log-Datei beaTunes-logs-2017-08-24-123425.zip an, indem Du sie vom Desktop auf den 'Attach File'-Schalter unten ziehst.

Hi, I'm trying to use Custom Field 1. I would assume that it can be filled in individually for each song. However, when I fill it in with one value for one song (this is always a value reflecting the number of beats per bar for the specific type of dance I do -- different than bpm), the value shifts up to another song. It does not stick to the row that I want to define. Also, getting the entry in is cumbersome. The system only accepts it after a time, and then a while later the field is populated with a value that applies to another song.

Is there any way to change this behavior?

I am basing my decision as to whether to buy this software on the possibility of having a column for defining the beatcount as described.

I hope for a quick answer as my trial runs out in three days.

Thanks!

    Hey Andrea,

I have tried, but cannot reproduce the behavior you are describing.

Does this issue occur regardless of how the table is sorted?

    Cheers,

    Hi Hendrik,

Thanks for your response. I have tried to figure out this behavior and
think that it might have to do with the fact that I had searched for a
song, and in the filtered selection of songs is where I tried to add some
information to the custom field -- and where it didn't work properly. The
same applies to making a definition within a playlist. When defining within
a playlist it didn't stick. (greift nicht). Could it be that the general
music view is the only place where it is only possible to make definitions
    that remain stable?

About the time lag, which I have been experiencing constantly with
beaTunes, is this because all information and transactions have to pass
through the server? And therefore the quality of the connection and server
    load affects speed?

Thanks for answering these questions still, I am hoping that beaTunes will
end up being my solution to playlists.

    Best regards,

    Andrea

    No.

I suspect that something with the internal beaTunes database maybe off. Could you please run Tools -> Repair Database? Perhaps that helps.

Also: How many songs are in your library? And where are your songs stored? On an external drive?

If these problems aren't solved by the database repair, please go to Help -> Upload Logs. Perhaps there is something in there that points me in the right direction to give you better advice

    Cheers,
