Not using itunes either.

djabraxotag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/429650402017-07-17T07:45:59Z2017-07-17T07:45:59ZPlaylist export error

The error might indicate a character encoding issue. I.e. umlauts or other fancy characters in the file names.

Regarding the order: beaTunes exports in natural order, i.e. not the sort order.

Sort order is what you get when you click on a column header.
Natural order what you get when you click on the empty column header.

hendriktag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/429650402017-07-17T15:18:36Z2017-07-17T15:18:36ZPlaylist export error

So if I wanted to export the playlist with it sorted by key, how would I go
about that?

djabraxotag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/429650402017-07-17T16:21:53Z2017-07-17T16:21:53ZPlaylist export error

You'd have to first change the natural order of the playlist. You can do so by selecting a start song, right-click, then "Reorder Playlist by...", select "Property", then "Key".

it?

No it should not depend on your Japanese characters.

hendriktag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/429650402017-07-22T12:03:40Z2017-07-22T12:03:40ZPlaylist export error

I'm getting the same error even after reinstalling and following the
instructions you gave.

djabraxotag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/429650402017-07-24T13:42:57Z2017-07-24T13:42:57ZPlaylist export error

The order issue is not dependent on the Japanese characters.

However,
m3u
is not a suitable format for any file or playlist that contains non-ISO 8859-1 characters (like Japanese characters). The playlist format that understands those kinds of characters is called
m3u8
. But as far as I know, Traktor does not support it. You could try to export as
m3u8
and then change the file extension to
m3u
.

hendrik
