Downloaded beaTunes5, now cannot launch beaTunes4

Hi beatTunes support,

I launched beaTunes4 and got a message that a newer version was available, so I downloaded it.

I launched beaTunes5 and got a window telling me it's trail version - not what I expected as I have paid for a license already.

Then I tired to launch bT4, and go, but without luck - see attached grabs of error messages. Also attached beaTunes.log and system-error.log

I'm on OS X Yosemite, v 10.10.5

    Thanks for replying so speedily.
    I have a licence for beaTunes 4 - I had assumed that this latest version was an upgrade.

    If I want to use beaTunes 5, do I need to buy it?

    Hey Thomas,

    The latest version (i.e. 5) is indeed an upgrade, it's just not a free one as lots of new features were added.

    If you're interested in upgrading to 5, you do need to purchase a license. For users who already own a beaTunes 4 license, the upgrade license is discounted and costs $11.95 instead of $34.95. You can purchase it via the "Buy" links on the website.
