i'm on windows 7...
my display always clipping,glitching after few minutes...it stops when i navigate through the media library but just for some seconds...:/
(sorry for my approximative english...:/)

   Hey Pete,

   please read this discussion. It describes several parameters that can be set in the beaTunes4.l4j.ini file.

   Please set the parameter -Dsun.java2d.d3d=false as described in that discussion.

   Hope this solves the issue,

   i don't find the line
   -Dsun.java2d.d3d=false
   i've this line
    Djava.net.useSystemProxies=false
   ?!?

   You have to add that line:

   -Dsun.java2d.d3d=false
