<p>thanks for your logs.</p>
<p>It looks to me like iTunes may be installed properly.<br>
Can you please download a fresh copy of iTunes from Apple (<a href="http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/">http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/</a>),
re-install iTunes, restart your computer and then try again?</p>
<p>Does that make a difference?</p>
<p>Thanks,</p>

beatunes has to be pointed at the iTunes library.xml I did a search
for the extension .xml on my C: drive. Sure enough, the first thing
the search brought up was "iTunes music library.xml" and the last
date modified was today. Seems like a sure bet that this is where
iTunes keeps it's information. It was in the directory
C:>Users>MainComputer>Music>itunes. MainComputer being
the name of my computer. Beatunes had the directory in
C:>Users>MainComputer>Documents>My Music>iTunes, or
something like that. I tried to find where the heck it was pointing
and couldn't find anything in that directory. Documents doesn't
have a "My Music" in that folder. I don't know where it got the
information that it was getting. Spooky mystery. Maybe it is still
looking in the old Windows 7 directory. Yea, I was one of those
poor smucks that upgraded to windows 10. However, thanks for your
help.</p></div>vetigoodsontag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/391125052016-02-07T22:42:50Z2016-02-07T22:42:50Zxml<div><p>Hey,</p>
<p>did this solve the issue somehow?<br>
Is Windows 10 really so bad? I always thought it's at least better
than Windows 8/8.1.</p>
<p>Cheers,</p>

it's that windows ten is that bad. Though it is. I use a program
called classic shell to get it back to windows seven configuration
without losing all the good things about 10. I think that it is
that beatunes is looking for the file in a place that no longer
exists in 10. With the latest verion of beatunes I'm having the
same problem but now it's stuck on trying to load the database. So
I don't have a way of pointing it to were the database really
is.</p></div>vetigoodsontag:help.beatunes.com,2009-07-24:Comment/391125052016-05-12T14:48:50Z2016-05-12T14:48:50Zxml<div><p>Hey,</p>
