Failure to analyze certain songs

Hi I am having trouble with several hundred various tracks when it comes to analysis. I have noticed that the problem occurs when the title, artist, album words etc have Diacritical marks in them (accented characters). The song info is in English the same as my system, Win8.1 64bit. Beatunes4 64 bit V4.0.1 and I am not using it with Itunes.
It seems also that Beatunes fails to recognize any of these files when it comes down to playing them as well. Error message is "file not found".
Any suggestions on overcoming this issue?

    Hi Hayden,

can you please paste some sample names that don't work?
    Sounds like unicode decomposition problem...

    Thanks,

By the way what's the editing steps to increase Ram memory allocation
for the program in Win 8.1 64bit system.
    "-server
    # the environment variable %BEATUNES_MEMORY% should contain the max heap
value, e.g. "-Xmx256m" (without the quotes)
    %BEATUNES_MEMORY%

    Hey Hayden,

should you require more memory, beaTunes should prompt you automatically and adjust the memory to the desired value upon restart.

If you want to grant beaTunes more memory without the explicit need (this may still be helpful), you have to set the environment variable BEATUNES_MEMORY to a higher value.

To set the max memory to 3GB, simply set the environment variable BEATUNES_MEMORY to -Xmx3G (yes, no B). If you don't know how to do that, here's an explanation.

Then start beaTunes and check the About dialog.

If beaTunes is not starting anymore after you manipulated the env var, you probably have a typo in the variable.

    Hope this helps,

    -hendrik
